Get Started

After this training you can sign in with two-factor, tell your own settings from your organization’s, and reach any tool from the side menu. You also learn how records are addressed and where the activity log lives, so you can share a link or answer who changed what.

Before you start

  • Do every step in the shared RotorLab test organization, never your own organization.
  • Have an authenticator app on your phone (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Bitwarden or similar), or a security key or passkey.
  • Use a desktop browser window at least 1000 pixels wide: below that the side menu hides and the Menu button in the top bar serves instead.
  • You have member access in the test organization. Some sections and menu rows are for organization admins or for other roles, and you will not see them.

What you will do

  1. Sign in with two-factor
  2. Find your homes
  3. Find your way around the menu
  4. Open a record by its handle

How you pass

Answer the check at the end of every step, then pass the ten-question final check with 80% or more. You can retake any check. Passing earns RotorLab Basics Training Passed, valid for 24 months.

Every step runs in the shared RotorLab practice organization, never in your own. Put your initials on anything you create there.
