After this training you can read what your organization operates under and when it lapses, record what happened as an occurrence, and tie it to the hazard it revealed. You also know where the Ops Manual, public reporting, retention and audit packages live. RotorLab keeps and organizes these records; your organization still decides what is reportable, files with the authority and keeps its operation within its rules.
Before you start
- Sign in to the shared RotorLab test organization, not your own organization.
- Allow about 60 minutes.
- Put your initials and the word PRACTICE in the summary of anything you record, for example PRACTICE JD. Other learners share this organization.
- Safety Management belongs to the Safety Management add-on, Ops Manual to the Ops Manual Builder add-on and Public Reporting to the Public Safety Ops add-on. The test organization has them all on.
- Any member can record an occurrence. Closing it, deciding whether it is reportable, registering hazards, writing the manual and producing audit packages take a role that manages that area. A role narrower than Member may not open every page here; it reads Your role does not include this page.
What you will do
- Read an authorization and its expiry
- Log an occurrence from a scenario
- Link it to a hazard
- Open a section of the Ops Manual
- Request an audit package for one aircraft
How you pass
Answer the check at the end of every step, then pass the ten-question final check with 80% or more. You can retake any check. Passing earns Records and Compliance Training Passed, valid for 24 months.
Every step runs in the shared RotorLab practice organization, never in your own. Put your initials on anything you create there.
